Research Interests :
Sandip Das received his B.Stat., M.Stat., M.Tech. and Ph.D degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, in 1986, 1988, 1990 and 2001 respectively. He was a faculty in North Bengal University during 1990 to 1999. He joined the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in 1999, and is currently a Professor in the Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit of Indian Statistical Institute. He was a visiting professor in School of Computing Science, Simon Fraser University, Canada, during June-August, 2014 and June-August, 2003. He had a visiting position in institutes City College, CUNY, Department of Computer Science, New York, USA, Institut de Mathematiques de Bourgogne, France, School of Information Science, JAIST, Ishikawa, Japan, University of Helsinki, Finland. Currently he is an adjunct faculty in the Department of Computer Science, School of mathematical Science, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Belur. His current research interest includes Graph Theory, Combinatorics, Graph Algorithms, Discrete and Computational Geometry.
